The Core-to-Core program, “Elucidation of solvation effects on
molecular recognition,” began in April 2024. The project is to
elucidate the role of solvation effects in biomolecule and ion
recognition through the collaboration of teams of experimental and
theoretical researchers specializing in molecular clusters from Japan,
France, Germany, and the United States. This is the third
international symposium as a joint symposium with UCSB, and in
addition to the core-to-core program members, other prominent
researchers in related fields will be invited to give talks.
